What I Wore Wednesday #3.

I think it's safe to say my head is still spinning from our whirlwind trip this past weekend.

I don't know how many times I have to experience it before accepting that I can't eat the way I used to, even if I am on vacation. A cheat meal here and there never throws me off too bad... but a splurge weekend? Cue painful stomach bloating and a very miserable couple of days. :/

But try telling me that when I'm sitting in front of a pumpkin cupcake and a chocolate salted caramel cupcake!

For what it's worth, those wedding cupcakes were DE.LICIOUS.

Despite the tummy trouble, the crazy trip was beyond worth it and the wedding was perfect. I always love spending time with my guy's family and I'm so thankful they welcome me with open arms.

PLUS! Wisconsin has Fall weather goin' on right now! That was a huge win in my book. I can't tell you how many times I heard "Well you're from Florida! You must be freezing!" But the truth is, that slightly unhappy face I was making was because I ate far too much and should've bee lined it to the bathroom rather than the result of the weather. :/ Whoops!

Thanks to the weather, the wedding ended with everyone in attendance around a bonfire. How awesome is that?! See? Absolutely perfect.

So this week's What I Wore Wednesday is the outfit I wore on the plane. A transitional "Don't suffocate while you're still in Florida/Be comfy when you get to Wisconsin" combo.

I try to be smart sometimes!

The lack of jewelry is for ease through airport security.

The super awesome face I'm making is courtesy of that cute guy that is getting all too tired of hearing "Yup I'm ready, but can you take a picture of me real quick?"

And you can't really see it but the shirt has elbow patches!! I love elbow patches. Especially if they're polka dotted which these happen to be.

So another week of dressing to my potential. Not saying I don't throw on jeans and a t-shirt most days. I definitely do. BUT! I'm really proud of the little improvements I've made so far. My "personal style" has gone from a wish list style pinterest board to a way I actually look at my wardrobe. And that's pretty exciting. Thank goodness I have this weekly little check-in to hold myself accountable. I'd still be rolling out of bed and sticking to pj's most days.

Not that there's anything wrong with that...

Said the girl typing this post, sitting on the couch in her pj's.

Happy Wednesday, everyone!
